Francisco Cerundolo keeps showing up in my tennis feed - is he a real contender or just a clay-court specialist?
I follow tennis casually and Cerundolos name keeps popping up in highlights and draw discussions, but I mostly remember him as a clay-court guy. He is ranked high enough to be seeded at big events now, and I am trying to figure out whether he is someone to actually watch deep into tournaments or whether his game falls apart once he leaves clay. For people who watch him regularly: what part of his game travels, and what is the matchup that exposes him?

- Fun to watch, threat not favorite
I started watching him because a friend kept hyping him and honestly he is fun - big forehand, lots of energy, and he can beat anyone on clay on a good day. Off clay he still makes deep runs when the draw opens up, but the top guys push him around on faster courts. I would call him a real threat, not a title favorite.
