In a 12-team league where I drafted Cousins as a backup, do I ride this out or trade him before the Chiefs game exposes him?

Three straight 3-TD games is the peak, and peaks are for selling. Cousins is playing well, but look at what is coming: the Chiefs defense next week, and the Raiders needed four fourth-quarter takeaways to beat the Saints. You drafted him as a backup, so trade him to the team starting a waiver-wire quarterback and get a real starter back. Never buy a veteran quarterback at the very top of his market.
