Cut cable this year — what’s the cheapest way to actually watch NFL games now?
Finally ditched cable and I’m staring down the first full season without it. I mostly watch one team (Jets, unfortunately) plus whatever’s in the 1pm/4pm national slots. Sunday Ticket is $350+ and that feels insane for one team. Is an OTA antenna plus some cheap streaming combo actually enough in 2026, or are there games that only live on services I’d have to buy anyway?

Check your address on a coverage map before buying anything. In the NYC metro an indoor antenna pulls every broadcast network in HD, which covers all the 1pm/4pm national games plus the night games — that’s the bulk of Jets games. The only gap is games exclusive to streaming services, which for one team is maybe 2-3 a season. For those, a one-month subscription beats paying for Sunday Ticket for the whole year.
