Cowboys at Eagles tonight on Monday Night Football - both 2-4, does Dallas finally cash in with Hurts out?
Monday Night Football tonight is Cowboys at Eagles, 8:15pm ET on ESPN and ABC at Lincoln Financial Field, and both teams arrive at 2-4. Dallas has lost two straight and Philadelphia has lost four straight. Jalen Hurts is out for the season with blood clots, so Tanner McKee starts again for Philadelphia, and DeVonta Smith is out while Saquon Barkley is questionable with a hamstring injury. Dallas is a 4.5 point favorite. With the Eagles offense under 250 yards in each of its last four games, is this the night Dak Prescott and Dallas take advantage, or does Philadelphia find a way to defend home turf with a backup quarterback?

- Take Dallas, but do not lay the moneyline price
The Eagles offense has been under 250 yards in each of its last four games, and now McKee is working without DeVonta Smith and maybe without Barkley too. Dallas should score enough. But Dallas has turned the ball over five times in its last two games, so laying minus 218 on the moneyline is paying full price for a sloppy team. Take the 4.5 points with Dallas if you must bet it, and keep the stake small, because a backup quarterback at home on Monday night has covered bigger spreads than this.
- Eagles cover at home, weird things happen on Monday night
I know the Eagles offense looks rough, but this is still a home division game on Monday night, and Dallas has lost two straight for a reason. McKee was 26 for 45 for 215 yards against Carolina, which is not great, but Goedert is healthy and the crowd will be loud. Dallas is favored by 4.5, and I think Philadelphia keeps it within a field goal even in a loss. Weird primetime games are exactly where backup quarterbacks cover.
