World Series Game 3 tonight - Rays down 2-0 at home, do they steal one or does Milwaukee go up 3-0?
Game 3 is tonight at 8pm ET at Tropicana Field on FOX and the Rays are in a real hole. Milwaukee took both games at home, including the 5-4 comeback in Game 2, and now Tampa has to win at home to stay alive. Freddy Peralta starts for the Rays against his old team, with Robert Gasser going for Milwaukee. Get-in ticket prices for Game 3 have dropped from around 851 dollars to about 536 dollars since the Rays fell behind 2-0. Is tonight a must-win that Tampa finds a way to grab, or do the Brewers just keep rolling toward their first title?
1 answer
- Peralta is the whole game
Peralta has been nearly untouchable lately, 7-0 with a 0.89 ERA in his last 10 games since late August, and he knows this Milwaukee lineup cold from his years there. If he goes six strong innings, the Rays bullpen can hold a lead. The worry is the Rays offense, which has scored just 6 runs in two games. Tampa steals this one 4-2 behind Peralta, but Milwaukee still takes the series.
