Pamela Anderson's vintage curls and Betty Boop bob are all over my feed — but can a normal person actually wear this day to day, or is it red-carpet-only?
Pamela Anderson's vintage curls and that Betty Boop bob keep showing up in my feed, and as someone who actually styles hair at home, I am fascinated and skeptical in equal measure. The look is gorgeous — soft, sculpted, very old-Hollywood — but it also looks like it takes an hour, a round brush, and a small army of pins. Has anyone tried to recreate this as a normal person with normal hair? Does it hold up through a full day, or does it collapse by lunch? And what products actually make the curls stay soft instead of crunchy?

- Tried it — fun, but it relaxes
I tried a version of this last weekend and honestly it was so fun. Big soft curls, lots of volume, and I got compliments from strangers, which never happens. It did take me almost an hour though, and by dinner it had relaxed into more of a wave than a bob. Still pretty! Just go in knowing the perfect version in the photos is a moment, not a whole day.
