NFL Sundays without cable in 2026 — what is the cheapest legit setup that actually works?

Finally cut cable back in August and I am regretting it every Sunday. Antenna gets me the local games fine, but the out-of-market games and the 1pm/4pm juggling are a mess. Tried one of those sketchy streaming sites last week and it buffered through the entire fourth quarter — never again. For people who have figured this out: what is your actual setup and what does it cost you per month? I mostly care about Sunday afternoon games, not the whole Thursday/Sunday/Monday circus.

I did this in September and tracked it. Step one: check antennaweb.org for your zip — if you are within 30 miles of the towers you get every local Sunday game free in better quality than cable streams (uncompressed OTA). Then add exactly one streaming service for out-of-market games and cancel it in February. My total: $0 for the antenna I already owned + $14.99/mo for five months. Everyone I know paying $70+/mo year-round for the full package is watching the same games.
