Variety reports Sabrina Carpenter is joining Tom Holland and Margaret Qualley in the untitled Fred Astaire biopic — she would play Ginger Rogers, Holland is Astaire, Qualley is his sister and first dance partner Adele. Paul King is directing. I love Sabrina as a pop star, but Ginger Rogers is one of the most famous dancers in film history — Astaire himself said Rogers gave him sex appeal because she did everything he did, backwards and in high heels.
