Deal trackers have the LG OLED65C6PUA 65-inch C6 Series OLED at $1,500, down from $2,700, as part of Best Buy Techtober which ends Sunday October 11. That is $1,200 off and the lowest I have seen on a current-gen LG OLED. My question: do TV prices this deep in October usually hold through Black Friday, or do they rebound before the holiday discounts kick in? I can buy this weekend, but if this price (or lower) comes back in six weeks I would rather not rush the decision.

Wait for the floor to show itself

Techtober ending Sunday is a manufactured deadline and you know it. Last year this same LG panel class bottomed out three separate times between October and December, and the deepest cut was Black Friday week, not mid-October. $1,200 off is real but it is not the floor — it is the opening bid. Write down the $1,500 price, screenshot it, and buy only if it goes lower in November. If it never goes lower, you buy then. Rushing a four-figure TV for a fake deadline is how you pay $200 for impatience.
