I am in a 12-team dynasty league and my QB room is rough. Dart is suddenly the most-searched name in football and a league mate wants my 2027 first-round pick for him. I caught bits of the Giants this summer but honestly was not watching closely. For people who actually watched him: is there real franchise-QB juice here, or is this just hype season? What would you actually pay?

Do not pay a 2027 first for a QB who has not taken a real regular-season snap. The checkable things from his summer tape: completion rate under pressure, average time to throw, and whether drives stalled in the red zone. Rookie QBs who look calm in a clean pocket but fold on third-and-long are a dime a dozen. Offer a 2027 second at most, and only if your league mates are not already bidding him up past that.
