Clocks go back tonight - do your smart home gadgets actually handle the fall-back, or are you still fixing clocks by hand?
Daylight saving ends tonight, November 1, so we gain an hour and every clock in the house has to fall back. My phone and laptop will sort themselves out, but I am expecting the usual suspects - microwave, oven, car dashboard, the old alarm clock - to be wrong all Sunday. For people with smart speakers, thermostats, and connected lights, does the fall-back actually go smoothly now, or do automations and schedules still glitch for a day? Which devices do you still have to fix by hand every single year?

- The microwave always wins
The microwave always wins, and by wins I mean it is wrong until I fix it. Phones and laptops handle the change fine. The microwave, the oven, and the car clock need a manual fix every single year, no exceptions. My system costs nothing: a phone reminder for Sunday morning, then I walk through the house and fix them all in one pass instead of noticing them one by one all week.
