I missed the actual Prime Day sale but the AirPods Pro 3 are still sitting at $179, which is the lowest price since June ($70 off the $249 price). My Pro 2s still work fine — battery is decent, nothing broken. Is the jump actually noticeable day to day, or is this one of those upgrades that sounds big on paper and feels identical? Trying to talk myself out of spending money I don't need to spend.

The Pro 3 runs the H3 chip with measurably better ANC and a redesigned fit. If your Pro 2 battery still holds a full day, wait — $179 prices usually resurface at Black Friday. If the battery dies by lunch, $179 is the floor and it is a real discount, not a fake markdown.
