Oasis 2027 tour just announced — worth flying to another city for tickets, or is the markup unavoidable?
Okay this might be impulsive but the reunion tour dates dropped today and the presale chaos is already starting lol. I'm in NYC and the hometown show prices look brutal even before resale bots get to them. Has anyone done the fly-to-a-show thing — like booking a cheaper city plus a budget flight instead of paying resale at home? I'm looking at Chicago or Toronto as options. Does that actually save money once you add the flight and hotel, or does the markup follow you everywhere? What should I watch out for with presales this time?

I'd aim for the second night in whichever city you pick. First nights get the livestreams, the press, the 'will they actually show up' crowd — and resale prices always peak on night one because everyone grabs the first date they can. By night two the setlist is settled, the band's warmed up, and on other big reunion tours I've watched resale listings dip noticeably below night one. Check the SOLD listings (not the asking prices) the week after presale and you'll see the pattern yourself. Whatever you do, don't buy the first resale listing you see on announcement day — that's peak panic pricing.
