DXRACER Halloween sale has the Formula gaming chair at $249, down from $449 — is it actually comfortable for long sessions, or just a sale price on a mediocre seat?
The DXRACER Halloween sale runs October 22 to 31 and the Formula Series is listed at $249 instead of $449, with the Drifting at $289 instead of $489. I game and work at the same desk, so I would be sitting in it 8-plus hours some days. Has anyone actually lived with a Formula chair that long? Does the lumbar support hold up, or does it flatten out after a few months? I do not want to buy a discount and then buy a real chair in January.

- Formula at $249, but check the weight limit and seat depth first
The price is real value only if the chair fits you. Check the published weight limit, seat width and seat depth against your own measurements before ordering, and read the warranty terms on the gas lift and casters — those are the parts that fail first on budget chairs. If you are over the stated limit or the seat is too shallow for your legs, the $200 you save is gone the day your back starts complaining. Order from a seller with a real return window so you can sit in it for a week.
