Cyberpunk 2077 is getting a free update this week tied to Edgerunners 2 on Netflix — worth reinstalling, or is this just a marketing patch?
Reports today say a free Cyberpunk 2077 update lands this week to mark the release of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 on Netflix. I finished the base game at launch and never touched Phantom Liberty. If the update is mostly cosmetics and cross-promotion, I will skip it, but if it touches performance or adds real content, a replay might be worth it. Has anyone seen the actual patch notes yet, and does it change anything for a returning player who already finished the story?

- Reinstall only if the patch notes show real fixes
Free update means zero cost to try, but my time is not free. I would wait for the actual patch notes and check whether it fixes performance on base consoles or just adds Edgerunners cosmetics. If it is skins and a jacket, skip it. If it touches crowd AI or driving, then a replay is worth a weekend.
