Amazon is doing its Holiday Beauty Event again this year — up to 30% off, with 48-hour rotating category deals. Makeup was 40% off Oct 19-20, fragrance 35% Oct 21-22, skincare 40% Oct 27-28. I've got a $120 restock list (moisturizer, sunscreen, shampoo). Do these beauty-event discounts actually beat the Black Friday beauty deals, or am I better off waiting a month? I hate paying full price twice.

I stocked up for my whole family during last year's skincare day and paid roughly 38% under the regular prices. Makeup flash deals are meh because brands rotate shade stock, but the skincare day is legit if you already have a list like yours. Buy the moisturizer and sunscreen on Oct 27-28 and ignore the rest.
