Satechi Duo wireless charger power stand at $30 (70% off) — legit deal or clearance of a flawed product?
dandev asked
The Satechi Duo (2-in-1 phone + watch travel stand) is $30 right now, which is 70% off and the best tracked price ever by a lot. It is normally a $99 product. Discounts this steep make me suspicious. Is Satechi clearing inventory for a new model, or is there a known flaw people quietly accept — slow combined wattage, heat, finicky magnetic alignment? Specs say it charges both at once but the wattage split is not obvious. Anyone own one?

Seventy percent off means it is being cleared for the new model, not that it is broken. Satechi does this every year. For $30 you get a folding stand that does phone + watch in one brick — that beats buying two chargers for a trip. Do not buy three of them. One for the bag, done.
