Need a robot vacuum that actually MOPS, not just drags a wet rag. What's worth buying right now?
Hardwood plus a couple of rugs. The ECOVACS DEEBOT X12S just launched with a $300 launch discount and iRobot's showing the Roomba Max 875 Combo, so the market's moving. Requirements: real scrubbing (not a damp pad), a dock that cleans itself, and not getting stuck under the couch daily. Anyone running a combo unit they actually like? What was the price and would you buy it again?

I upgraded from a cheap vacuum-only bot earlier this year and the mopping difference is real IF you get one with spinning mop pads and a dock that washes them. The drag-a-damp-pad ones just smear dirty water around. Whatever brand you pick, check that the dock washes the mops with clean water and dries them — that's the thing that keeps the floors from getting that weird damp smell.
