> Black Friday TV deals are already live in early November: buy now, or do the same prices come back during the real Black Friday week?

> It is only November 7 and I am already seeing $200 to $300 off mid-range TVs at the big retailers. I am looking at one specific 55-inch model. My worry is that these early deals are just inflated list prices with a fake discount slapped on, and the same TV will be cheaper the week of Black Friday. On the other hand, waiting risks the model selling out. Do early November TV deals usually hold up, or is waiting the better play?

> Set a price target and buy when it hits

> Look up the exact model on a price-history tracker before you decide anything. Early November doorbusters on TVs very often repeat or get beaten during Black Friday week, so a deal that looks great today is usually not a once-a-year price. Pick the price you would be happy paying, and if the set hits it now, buy it: most retailers give you a 30-day return window, so you can rebuy if it drops further.
