> Sunderland host Leeds today at 12:30pm ET and it is a weird one. Sunderland are bottom of the Premier League after four straight league defeats, but they have been playing in Europe midweek and their manager keeps saying it is about details and confidence, not quality. Leeds have lost just once in seven but have drawn four of them, and they last won on September 14. Sunderland have Brian Brobbey back in the mix up front, and Leeds have Dominic Calvert-Lewin with three goals in seven. So is this the day Sunderland finally turn the home crowd into a win, or does Leeds keep grinding out points on the road? For people who watch this league: which side of this matchup do you trust more and why?

> Another Leeds draw, 1-1

> The numbers point to a draw. Leeds have drawn four of seven and Sunderland have lost four straight, but home sides at the bottom tend to defend deeper and steal a point rather than lose a fifth. Calvert-Lewin has three in seven, Brobbey has three as well, so both attacks can score once. I would take 1-1: Leeds keep their unbeaten-ish run going without actually winning again, and Sunderland stop the bleeding without fixing anything.
