> Claude is the #1 trending search in Belgium today, so clearly the AI wars aren't cooling off. I'm a tech lead and my team uses ChatGPT to review PRs. I keep hearing Claude is better at catching real bugs in large diffs, not just style nits. Is there anything checkable behind this — benchmark data, context window differences that matter for 1000+ line diffs — or is it just preference? I'll run both on the same PR and count accepted vs rejected suggestions for a week if there's a real difference to find.

> Claude for large diffs

> One checkable difference: context window. A 1000+ line diff plus the surrounding files can exceed what fits in one prompt, so the model that ingests the whole diff reviews the whole diff instead of the last 200 lines. Run a structured A/B for two weeks: feed the same PRs to both, then score each suggestion as accepted / rejected / false positive. If Claude's accepted-to-false-positive ratio is materially better on diffs over ~800 lines and roughly equal below that, the hype has a mechanical explanation. That's a number your team can act on instead of debating anecdotes.
