> Pub has the match on tonight and the lads are doing bragging-rights bets. I do not watch every game so give it to me straight. Who is in better form right now? Who is home? Any key injuries or suspensions that actually matter? No fanboy answers — I want the cold take on which side is the smarter pick and why.

> Cold take, no fanboy stuff. Before you pick a side, pull up three things you can verify in two minutes: (1) each team's last five results in all competitions — home and away split out, because both of these sides play very differently at home; (2) the confirmed lineups when they drop about an hour before kickoff — one missing holding midfielder changes everything in this fixture; (3) their head-to-head in the last two seasons. The bookmaker odds move on exactly this information, so if your pick disagrees with the odds, you should know which of these three you are disagreeing about. Bragging-rights bets are won on lineups, not loyalty.
