> Leading my family league (no buy-in, pride only) but Daniels is my QB1 and now he is hurt. My waiver budget is nearly gone — everyone in my league hoards FAB like it is real money. Who is the cheapest pickup who will not torpedo my season? Someone like Nix or Maye, or is there a deep sleeper I am not thinking of?

> Nix. Look at his remaining schedule: 4 of his next 6 are bottom-10 pass defenses, and his rushing floor (about 35 yards a game) keeps him above the streamer line even on a bad week. Maye has the higher ceiling but costs twice the FAB in most leagues. You are protecting a lead, not chasing upside — take the floor.
