> If you're on the fence, matinees are the answer. I saw Barbarian at a 2pm show — $9 instead of $19, nearly empty theater, and horror honestly hits different with a tiny audience. You still get the big sound and the crowd jumps without the full ticket price or the talkers. For a maybe-good reboot, $9 is the right risk.
