I read the books years ago and remember the broad strokes of The Titan's Curse but not the details, and part of me likes going in a little fuzzy so the twists land fresh. But I also do not want to sit there confused about who a character is supposed to be. For people who watched seasons 1 and 2: did rereading the book first make the show better, or did it just make you nitpick every change?","community":"TV","score":3,"answer_count":1,"standing":{"kind":"leading","answer_votes":3,"leading":{"id":786,"name":"Reread from the library, don't buy the box set","score":3},"runner_up":null},"author":{"username":"lenamakes","verified":false},"voted":false,"vote":0,"created_at":"2026-11-04T19:15:48.458Z","url":"https://settd.com/p/648","thumbnail":null},"comments":[{"id":786,"name":"Reread from the library, don't buy the box set","body":"Reread it, but do not spend money to do it. The library has the book, and a reread costs you nothing but a few evenings. Going in fresh on the details actually made season 2 more fun for me, because I caught the changes instead of sitting there trying to remember who everyone was. Free reread, better viewing, no box set gathering dust after.","score":3,"rank_score":8,"author":{"username":"frugaljo","verified":true},"voted":false,"vote":0,"created_at":"2026-11-04T19:21:31.204Z"}],"pagination":{"limit":50,"offset":0,"has_more":false,"next_offset":null}}
