The price hikes are on NEW RTX 50-series cards. The used market did not move — an RTX 3070 still does 1440p high settings in most games and goes for around $300 on eBay with buyer protection.\n\nCheck completed/sold listings for RTX 3070 and RTX 3080 before you decide; the price delta between a used 3080 and a price-hiked new card pays for the rest of your build.
